For defined-scope work — divorce applications, consent orders, Wills, probate — we offer fixed fees so you know the cost before you commit. Fixed fees cover our professional fees; disbursements (court filing fees, barrister fees, expert reports) are additional.
For contested litigation and complex matters where the scope cannot be defined in advance, we charge an hourly rate. We provide a costs estimate at the outset and keep you informed throughout.

Legal finance products — sometimes called litigation loans or legal funding — allow eligible clients to fund their legal costs and repay from their settlement proceeds. These products are provided by third-party lenders, not by Freemont Family Lawyers.
Eligibility depends on the nature and strength of your matter. Legal finance is most commonly used for contested property settlement matters where a significant settlement is expected.
